2023 Small Business Gift Guide

Gift-giving season is coming right up and what better way to show you care than hand-selecting an intimate gift from a small business. I’ve rounded up guides for the entertainers, the home-bodies, the business girlies, your mother-in-law, and the men in our lives.

The Entertainers:

These are for the ladies who are always hosting a themed party, or thinking about hosting a themed party. You know you’re always welcome on their sofa and their home is the ultimate gathering spot for friends and family. 

I love a charcuterie board. It’s the perfect way to elevate snacks, and this handmade board from Little Logs is just so cute!

These beeswax food wraps work the same as plastic wrap, but they are reusable and sustainable. Dabeehive is based out of Maui, Hawaii and uses their own bees to create lots of great products!

I gave this to my mom a couple of years ago. My grandmother’s Divinity recipe was always a classic, and I was able to print it onto a cutting board for my mom! This shop on Etsy has lots of cutting board options and ships quickly.

Custom coasters are the perfect gift for the hostess in your life! Mengcaca on Etsy has a great shop that offers tons of options.

The Homebodies:

You know this girl. She always has the best book recommendations, her house smells like an expensive candle, and she gives the best bath bombs for holidays. She knows the art of embracing a night in. 

Art & Fable Puzzle Company has so many high quality, beautiful puzzles. They have multiple artists that design their puzzles which means so many fun pictures to choose from. They also give back to charity with every purchase. 

Simply Curated is a small business that handmakes 100% Soy candles out of Michigan. These beautiful candles would make the perfect gift!

Relax in a warm bath with Hawaiian sea salt and honey. Dabeehive is based out Maui, Hawaii and creates products out of  beeswax. The shop supports the Maui Honey Bee Sanctuary.

See The Way I See is such a cool shop that makes apparel surrounds mental health. She writes positive or funny affirmations on the sleeves of all the clothing and they’re all so cute!

The Book Lovers:

Embroidered bookmarks? Sign me up. These are just so cute and the perfect addition to those cozy nights reading in front of the fire. SusanPrints on Etsy is the creator of these bookmarks. 

If anyone who knows me wants to get me a book embosser, please do. I would love a custom embosser to mark all my books. This is perfect for the friend that has a bunch of books and loves to loan them out!

All book lovers need more shelves. And these invisible shelves are easy and perfect to help your books shine. 

Bookends are also a great gift for your book friends. There are so many great designs, but these simple quotation marks caught my eye. 

The Outdoor Enthusiast:

You all know my other personality is a little hiking gremlin. I love camping, backpacking, skiing, and just seeing the Sun. Here’s some of my favorite small business products that are for 

I am actually obsessed with Weber’s Resupply. This cute company is ran by Meriedith Weber, and she runs her company sustainability by creating small batch made-to-order clothing. Her sweaters are perfect, but she also has t-shirts, hats, vests and hats.

Faevana on Etsy makes the most beautiful handmade ornaments and these outdoor scenes are just stunning!

The Stocklist is a lovely little shop based out of the PNW. They sell outdoor goods, puzzles, and candles. These cute sling bags come in multiple colors and are great for carrying the essentials.

If you know someone who loves national parks, this tracking map is perfect! I love that you can put a little tree into the slot and check off each park. 

The Plant Moms:

I truly can’t keep anything alive, but I have lots of friends that love their little plant babies. 

Want the cutest way to show off your flowers? These little house bud vases are perfect for you plant friends.

Wheely Good Ceramics is one of my favorite small businesses. Two sisters work together to create vases, mugs, and other ceramic dishes. One throws it on a pottery wheel, and the other sister paints the designs by mouth because she is paralyzed. 

I’m obsessed with these little canvas pouches. The Stocklist has so many great canvas totes and pouches with great designs. 

These galvanized steel watering cans are made specifically to not rust if you accidently leave water in it. Handmade from PlintUS on Etsy, this is the perfect gift for any plant lover in your life.
