There is nothing quite like a colorful bedroom to help you wake up in the morning! We loved infusing this log cabin with color.
In the Bedroom:
We started with the beautiful bones of this log cabin and a desire to add some color and light into the room. Per the client’s request, we were able to expand the primary suite out onto the porch. This gave us enough space in the bedroom to include a small seating area, a large walk-in closet and larger bathroom.
This is where we started:
For the first layout, we used a green bed opposite floral chairs to complete this design.
In the second design, we switched the placement of the bed and chairs to give a beautiful view out the windows.
In the Bathroom:
With the expansion of the room out onto the porch, we had a lot more space to play with in the bathroom. We developed two different layouts and designed them both with colorful wallpapers.
In the first design, we had a little more space and were able to add a water closet and free standing tub.
In the second design, we had more space in the bedroom, and a smaller area to work with in the bathroom. Because of this, we weren’t able to put in a water closet, but we did have a beautiful vanity and large walk-in shower with a bench.
